The real problem is that it is taking things at this level to get people like me, who haven’t previously batted an eye, to see that there’s a problem at all. I’m sorry to all for my years of apathy. That’s over. This type of thing is absolutely frightening. And the powers that be are using their own citizens, the very people they are supposed to represent, against themselves. Infuriating, and truly frightening.
I’m sick of the “police officers are just doing their jobs” argument. This is brutality. They need to be stopped.
